YEOVIL 51-24 CREDITON RFC WOMEN

CREDITON RFC Women demonstrated remarkable determination and teamwork in their match against league leaders Yeovil.

Traveling with a bare 15 players and no substitutes, Crediton faced the formidable Yeovil side with several players out of their usual positions.

The team adapted quickly, with forwards stepping into the backs and the captain taking on the role of fullback.

Yeovil's strong attack tested Crediton's defence, but the team rose to the challenge, improving their defensive efforts throughout the game.

Crediton countered Yeovil's tactics with hard work and resilience in both attack and defence.

Both teams experienced setbacks with yellow cards, and Crediton faced an additional challenge when a player was injured, leaving them one player short. Despite this, Crediton continued to fight hard, showcasing their strength and determination.

Crediton had several near-tries, with three attempts held up over the line and one knock-on, highlighting their offensive capabilities.

Crediton's tries were scored by Rachel, Ellen, Holly K, and Emma Davie, with Katie Salter successfully converting two.
