ST Matthew's Church in Cheriton Fitzpaine, and St Mary's Church in Stockleigh English, held a flower festival in Cheriton over a weekend, entitled "shows".

The church was filled with such glorious displays showcasing the talent and incredible community spirit within the village.
Most village organisations had supplied a flower display, and once again, Andrew and Hazel Norton sold plants throughout the weekend.
Food was served throughout, and music, on the organ, was supplied by Dave Simms (who also took requests).
The money raised, which amounted to more than £4,000, will go towards the running costs to ensure both these churches remain cared for and open for all.
