THE Seniors April Medal was played at Downes Crediton Golf Club on Monday, April 26.

It saw some fantastic scores as Paul Dorothy stole the show taking the overall victory and winning Division Two shooting a nett 65 with David Rowell (nett 67) in second place.

Jim Matheson topped Division One with a fine score of nett 68. Jim Dunlop, who also shot a nett 68, finished second but lost to a better back nine.

Patrick McVeigh took the Midweek Stableford on Wednesday, April 28, with a great score of 39 points.

Lyn Parry took top spot in the Ladies County Stableford Three as she scored 37 points on Thursday, April 29.

Lyn also topped Division One with Marina Caston finishing second, also scoring 37 points, but losing to a better back nine.

In Division Two it was Sue Bonner who came out on top scoring 36 points while Annet Coles finished second with 35 points. In the nine hole Ladies Stableford Jill Yates scored 16 points to take the victory.

The Thursday Stableford saw some superb scoring and it was John Cornish who scored 23 to take the win with Paul Conabeare (22 points) placed second and Ben Dommett (20 points) placed third.

On Saturday, May 1, the club ran a Roll Up Saturday Stableford and this saw Graham Browne shoot 39 points to finish in top spot.

Martin Sargent finished second with a score of 38 points and Robin Abrahams third, posting 37 points.

On Sunday, May 2, Shirley Stunell finished with an incredible 39 points to win the Sunday Stableford, three points clear of Paul Reeder (36 points) and Josh Murphy (36 points).
