MONDAY, October 7 saw John Warren take the Mick Thompson trophy at Downes Crediton Golf Club with a superb score of 38 points to win this year’s trophy as well as take the Division Two prize.

Robert Dobson finished in second place with a score of 35 points.

In Division One it was Nick Bromell who scored 35 points while Peter Blinkhorn finished second with a score of 34 points.

On Wednesday, October 9 John Cornish took the top spot in the mid-week stableford with a score of 37 points.

On the ladies section, on Thursday, October 10, Lyn Parry won the Mapledoram Cup and LGU Medal 10 with a score of nett 80 which also meant she won the Division One prize as well.

Fran Shrubsole finished in second place, also with a nett 80 but losing to a better back nine.

In Division Two it was Sue Barr who took top spot with a score of nett 82 with Annet Coles finishing second with a nett 89.
