BROTHERS Jake and Sam Kibbey scored best of the day 39 points in the Midweek Stableford at Downes Crediton Golf Club on Wednesday, September 1, but it was Jake that secured the victory with a better back nine holes.

Joe Hull (38pts) finished third.

In the Thursday Ladies County Stableford 11 Sue Barr posted a fine 39 points to win overall and top Division Two with Di Parsons (36pts) second.

In Division One Stacey Ford scored a superb 38 points for the win.

The Thursday Nine Hole Stableford saw some tremendous scoring and leading the way was Paul Gribble scoring a stunning 24 points.

Rohan Hardeman posted 23 points to follow in second whilst Steve Blackmore (21pts) was placed third.

The quartet of Frank Sanders, Simon Coupe, Gerald Abdoll and John Dean romped to victory on Saturday, September 4, in the Charity Day Team Stableford scoring a superb 126 points for a commanding 10 shot victory. The format that saw teams score two scores on the par 3’s, three on the par 4’s and four on the par 5’s certainly sorted out the field with the groups of Steve Fewings, Sam Hills, Nick Taylor and Mike Allen and Steve Whyte, Tristan Kershaw, Alan Lawrence and David Taylor both scoring 116 to place second and third respectively.
