MIKE Charnock and Stephen Gidley took victory in Downes Crediton Golf Club’s Senior’s Betterball Stableford on Monday, February 3 with a score of 45 points.

Jim Kenshole and David Vowden equalled the 45 points haul but finished second losing out on the back nine holes. Andy Gibson and Chris Theedom (43 pts) finished third.

Thursday, February 6 saw Ladies Captain Shirley Stunell finish in first place in the ladies stableford with a score of 33 points. Susan Bonner scored 30 points to finish second.

The February Stableford, played on Saturday, February 8 saw some impressive scoring and none more so than Ray Kelly who posted a superb 48 points to win the overall competition as well as top Division Three.

In Division One it was Robin Abrahams who took top spot scoring 41 points followed into second by Paul Sandercock (40 pts) with Andy Frankum (38 pts) third.

Division Two victory went to Stephen Yates with a score of 43 points and he was followed into second and third by Dave Hill and Duncan Cooper, both posting 39.

Second place in Division Three went to Neil Wilson (39 pts) whilst Tracey Chandler (30 pts) topped the Ladies Division.
