ROBIN Tooze was in fine form at Downes Crediton Golf Club on Monday, May 30 as he scored 42 points to win the Seniors Jack Painting Trophy whilst also topping Division Two.

In Division Two Nigel Ashplant scored 40 points to follow in second whilst in Division One Andy Frankum scored 38 points for victory with William O’Leary (35pts), second.

The Midweek Stableford was played on Wednesday, June 1 and the winner was Neil Wood with 43 points.

Tracey Chandler played some superb golf on Thursday, June 2 as she posted 39 points to win the week’s Ladies Stableford and Division One, three points clear of second placed Marina Caston (36pts).

In Division Two Diane Parsons scored 31 points to take top spot with Joyce Gilg (30pts), second.

The Thursday nine-hole Stableford winner was Richard Trick who scored 18 points.

In form Ken Bones scored an impressive nett 66 (four under) to win the Loch Lomond June Medal on Saturday, June 4.

He also finished top in Division Two with Gerry Hodder (nett 68), second.

In Division One Andy Frankum was victorious, posting a nett 67 (three under) whilst James Bourner was second with nett 68.

Fran Shrubsole scored a fine nett 68 to take the honours in Division Three with Kyle Gresham shooting a nett 69 to finish second. Rodin Mackay won the scratch prize with a gross 74.

Di Botterill and Gerry Hodder played some superb golf on Sunday, June 5 in the betterball with a score of 47 points to win the annual Cynthia King Robinson Bowl by two points from Ken Bones and June Mitchell (45pts).

Fran Shrubsole and Tony Sykes scored 42 points to follow in third.
