TIVERTON’S Eliot Baker has been shortlisted for the prestigious Performance of the Year Award at the 2026 England Golf Awards.
Baker enjoyed a breakthrough year on the international stage, capturing two major titles in emphatic style.
He landed victory at the Portuguese Amateur Championship before adding the Scottish Open Stroke Play Championship to his growing list of achievements.
His impressive form continued with a superb third‑place finish at the Brabazon Trophy.
His performances earned him selection for Great Britain and Ireland at both the St Andrews Trophy and the Walker Cup, where he showcased his ability to thrive under pressure in elite team environments.
Baker also played a pivotal role in a series of team triumphs for England, contributing to victories at the Costa Ballena, the European Nations Cup, England v Spain, and the Home Internationals.
On the global stage, he helped secure bronze medals at the European Men’s Team Championship and the Eisenhower Trophy (World Amateur Team Championship).
