THE Ladies at Downes Crediton Golf Club played a stableford competition over 12 holes on Thursday, February 15.

Taking the spoils with 28 points was Ying Wong. This also gave Ying victory in Division One beating Betty Willey (27 pts). Di Botterill posted 27 points to take the win in Division Two.

Finally, there was some great weather for the Downes members on Saturday, February 17, for the club stableford and with the great conditions came some great scores.

Andy Frankum led the way with a terrific score of 44 points taking the overall victory and Division One.

Adrian Cram, who finished second overall, took first place in Division Two scoring 43 points beating David Hill (43 pts) into second on count back.

Stuart Phillips won Division Three with a score of 41 points whilst Todd Dove finished second posting 40 points.

Kate Cornish had 33 points and claimed the ladies top spot beating Fran Shrubsole who scored 31 points and Shirley Stunell with 27 points.
