MONDAY, June 4 saw Downes Crediton Golf Club senior, Frank Sanders, come out on top in the seniors June medal shooting a fantastic nett 66 to take the overall win and Division One.

Gerry Hodder followed in second place, also posting a nett 66, but losing out on the back nine holes.

Division Two saw Brian Johnston take the win shooting a nett 70 to beat Roger Gratton, who also shot a nett 70, into second place.

Gerry Hodder continued his fine form on Wednesday, June 6 with a score of 41 points to win this year’s Les Pope Cup (over 55’s) whilst the Midweek Stableford saw James Bourner take the top spot with a score of 38 points.

On Saturday, June 8 John Welsh stole the show by shooting a stunning nett 63 (seven under par) to win this year’s June medal and Division Two prize.

Daniel Knight followed in second place with a fine score of nett 66 (four under).

In Division One Matt Arnold came out on top posting a superb level par gross score of 70 for a nett 64 (six under) with Paul Luxton finishing second with a nett 70.

Finally in Division Three it was Robert Dobson who took the win with a score of nett 71 while Tony Blackburn followed in second place with a score of nett 73.
