MARTIN Howe took the first medal spoils of the year at Downes Crediton Golf Club on Monday, April 15 when he shot a superb score of nett 67 (three under).

He was followed by Mark Walker who scored a nett 70 (level) to finish second.

In Division Two Paul Dorothy scored a nett 69 (one under) to finish top with David Moss scoring a nett 71 (one over) to finish in second place.

Matt Arnold won the Wednesday (April 17) evening stableford with a great score of 38 points.

A club stableford played on Saturday, April 20 saw Tim Andrews steel the show in the beautiful conditions with a terrific score of 41 points.

He was followed by Matt Arnold who scored 38 points to finish in second place while Matt Redstone finished in third with 36 points.
