COLIN Wheatcroft stole the show on Monday, August 8 in the seniors Mike Dunk and Phil Olis trophy at Downes Crediton Golf Club.

Colin scored a superb 40 points and also took the Division One top spot.

In Division Two it was Robert Dobson who scored 39 points to take the top prize.

Lyn Hazelton scored 39 points on Wednesday, August 10 to claim the mid-week stableford.

Downes ladies played the Jill Aldsworth trophy and County stableford-nine on Thursday, August 11 when Linda Gill scored a superb 41 points to take the top spot. Anne Woodger scored 40 points to finish second.

Simon March scored 21 points to take the nine-hole stableford on Thursday, August 11.

On Saturday, August 13 Simon Baker scored a nett 64 (six under) to win this year’s August medal and Submariners Shield as well as the Division Two prize, while in Division One it was Tracey Chandler who scored a nett 67 (three under) to claim the prize.

In Division Three it was Simon Welland who took the top spot with a score of nett 65 (five under).
