OKEHAMPTON Golf Club held its Seniors Spring Open on Monday, April 24, which was won by Rev Stuart Wilson, Martyn Gannon and John Ripley from Okehampton with 78 points.

Just behind on the back three, from Okehampton, the team in second place were Roger Slack, John Flavin and Ted Boswell.

The best Combination Team were Steve Blackmur, Adrian Tilley and Richard Johnson from Okehampton Golf Club and Ashbury Golf Club, also with 78 points.

The best Visitor Team prize went to Richard Stevens, Chris Hazelwood and Colin Wayman from Fingle Glen and Exeter Golf and Country Club with 77 points.

On Saturday, April 29 an Individual Stableford saw members competing for the Anniversary Niblick which was won by Division One winner Kevin Cornwall with 41 points, second place went to Mark Wonnacott with 38 points just ahead on the back nine from Jay Carroll in third place.

Division Two winner was Rob Green with 40 points, in second place was Graham Moysey with 39 points just ahead on the back nine from Paul Rogers in third place.

Division Three winner saw the top three places come in with 38 points each. After countback the winner was Steve Latham, second was Roger Halliday and third Michael MacDonald.
