I NEARLY choked on my organic muesli when I read Bob Edward's letter dated April 23.

I fear Bob has succumbed to an outbreak of Conspiracy Theorising in suggesting that Nigel Farage is being subjected to a concerted effort to challenge his views and policies.

Surely all political parties turn their fire on their opponents during a political campaign.

Perhaps Mr Farage is more sensitive than I give him credit for, but I thought he revelled in dog whistle politics and of course he can use his role as a GB news presenter to push forth his views to members of the public who tune in to that particular channel.

Last time I looked there were no stations entitled Keir Starmer or Ed Davey FM.

The real reason that many voters are now cooling on Reform is that they are an extremist party led by a man who is a Trump lapdog.

If Mr Farage had his way we would have British troops fighting in Iran.

I thought the Brexit slogan Take Back Control meant that the government could make decisions based on the best interests of the United Kingdom , not slavishly follow the whims of a deranged U.S president.
