10am to 1pm – Crediton Farmers’ Market, Town Square.

3pm - Spring Concert with the Crediton Singers, St Lawrence Chapel, one hour concert followed by refreshments, concert free, donations invited to the Chapel and MNDA. The Crediton Singers will be joined by pianist Nigel Guthrie and flautist Tina Guthrie.

6.30pm - Doors open for Bang Bang Boxing Club Show, Lords Meadow Leisure Centre. Tickets Adult £15, child under 16 £15, VIP table service £50pp, available from Bang Bang Boxing.

7.30pm - An Evening of Music at St John’s Church, Bishopsteignton, Caerphilly Ladies Choir with piano soloist Nicholas Gardiner, £5 a ticket on the door, all proceed to St John’s Church funds.

SUNDAY 3

9.30am - The Devon RFU U15 Boys 10-a-side Festival, Crediton Rugby Club, hosted by Crediton RFC U15 Boys, 19 teams taking part.

MONDAY 4

2.30pm - Maypole Dancing, audience participation desired, no experience necessary as tuition provided, Refeshments, hot and cold food, cakes, scone and cream teas available, plus licensed bar, May Day Pimms available, Coldridge Village Square, Coldridge Village Hall event.

10am - Sip, Snack, Chat, Sampford Courtenay Village Hall, raising money for British Heart Foundation, and learn how to save lies with defibrillator training and demonstrations by SWASFT.

10.30am - Join children’s author Jamie Hammond for a high energy, imagination fuelled adventure based around his new book Dragonflare at The Bookery. Ideal for ages 6-11. Tickets are free but need to be booked at www.thebookery.org.uk

1.30pm - for 2pm start, talk entitled ‘The Tedburn Murder’, at The Little Chapel at Tedburn St Mary Cemetery, organised by Tedburn History and Information Society, donations in aid of the Society, all welcome.

7pm - Talk, Sandford and the Cloth Industry, by Mike Brett, Boniface Centre, Crediton, admission £2/£5 on the door, Crediton Area History and Museum Society.

WEDNESDAY 13

10am - to 2.30pm, Health and Wellbeing Cancer Fair, Exeter City Football Club, free entry, 30 stalls and information, talks, support groups, financial advice, acupuncture, raffle, The Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital in partnership with Exeter City PCN, ECFC, Force, ELF.

SATURDAY 16

10am to 1pm – Crediton Farmers’ Market, Town Square.

2pm - to 5pm, Red Mud Arts present Alice in Operaland, North Tawton Town Hall, a show and two workshops, £8 per child, children/family groups must be accompanied by at least one adult, tickets etc at www.rougeoperaoutreach.org/red-mud-arts

2.30pm - Crediton Town Band Spring Concert, Crediton Parish Church, with guests the Ad Hoc Singers, entry free with a retiring collection.

SUNDAY 17

2pm - to 5pm, Tedburn History and Information Society Open Day, Tedburn St Mary Village Hall. See information about the parish, tea and cakes also available.

WEDNESDAY 20

10am - Talk by Prof Peter Edward, Caravaggio, Genius and Chaos, Boniface Centre, entry £2 includes refreshments, Crediton and District U3A.

SATURDAY 23

12 noon - to late, Morfest, Morchard Bishop Festival, The London Inn Fields (pub will be closed on the day, everything will be outside), live music from local bands, comedy, local performers, barbecue and other food options, bar, stalls, bouncy castle, take cash, a family day out, tickets from The London Inn, Church Street Stores, parish councillors, advance tickets adults £25, children £10, on the day £30 adults, £10 children.
