ON Saturday, October 10, the Crediton Fundraising Group of Exeter Leukaemia Fund held a Big Breakfast in Copplestone Methodist Church Hall.
The Committee provided a delicious array of locally produced food, kindly donated by Cox's butchers, Darts Farm, Black Dog eggs, Morrisons and Tesco.

They were delighted when a hungry group of men from Isca Scooter Club arrived in force and demolished their breakfasts!
Thanks to everyone who attended and £644 was raised for the provision of care for local patients.
The Crediton ELF Fundraising Group has arranged some Bingo evenings which will take place at Crediton Football Clubhouse.

The 2027 dates for people to put on their calendar are January 20 (meat bingo), March 24 (Easter bingo), May 19 (meat bingo), July 21 (meat bingo), September 22 (meat bingo) and December 8 (Christmas bingo).
Nicola Turner said on Facebook: “A great breakfast was had, supporting a wonderful cause at the same time.”

ELF says its vision is that every family affected by blood cancer or a blood disorder in the South West receives compassionate, tailored support.
It says it can lighten the load, supporting patients and families from diagnosis, through treatment and after treatment, at hospital and in the local community. Financial support helps it make a real difference.

The Crediton group is committed to raising funds and awareness to support the work of Exeter Leukaemia Fund.
It group previously funded two new patient isolation room fridges, a chemotherapy backpack, a CADD pump, and high-risk procedure tabards for the Yarty Ward at the Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital.

Often members knit and crochet soft toys and crafts, which are displayed and sold via local shops such as AE Lee (Outfitters) on Crediton High Street.
The group regularly hosts other community fundraising events such as quiz nights, plant sales, and summer fetes.
