CREDITON and District Lions attended the Farmers’ Market held in Crediton Town Square on Saturday, April 18.

Children were invited along to think how they could help bees and wildlife by making seed bombs.

They were then invited to colour a box to carry them home in to plant the seed bombs in their garden.

Many children had fun taking part, the Lions pleased the activity was so popular.

The Lions Club also had collection boxes for spectacles, hearing aid batteries and bras, which are recycled.

Crediton and District Lions Club was formed in 1978. Membership is open to people from all walks of life and provides a friendly way of serving the community.
