A SEVEN-year-old Crediton girl has successfully read 100 books she borrowed from Crediton Library.
Cat-loving Leah Reis completed the Libraries Unlimited Book Quest Challenge and received a certificate and badge, which features a cat on the badge, much to her delight.
She was presented with her badge and certificate by Crediton Library Supervisor Sue Lee.
Leah said that her favourite books were from the Harry Potter series and Rainbow Fairies by Daisy Meadows.
She is a pupil at Hayward’s Primary School where she is a Word Millionaire, having read more than one million words through a school programme.
Leah explained: “I read whenever I can.”
When she is not reading or at school, Leah enjoys swimming and is a member of the 4th Crediton Brownies.
