The event ran from 6pm to 10pm and hundreds of people went along to view the cars, which included many historic and interesting or adapted cars.
Billy Elder, founder of Crediton Car Club “Lavish Life”, organised the event with Andrew Drayton, the store’s community champion.
He said the car show was a chance for people to see some fantastic cars and see that the car scene isn’t all about people roaring up and down the streets with music blaring out and generally causing a disruption.
He said many people had spent thousands of pounds on their vehicles.
The show was free for anyone to attend, with food provided by The Red Deer and Camper Coffee Company.
There was a car-themed raffle as well as traders related to the car scene.
Crediton Army Cadets supplied volunteer stewards to help with organisation at the show, and Andrew Drayton, said they had done "a brilliant job".
He added: "Thanks to everyone involved with the Charity Car Show, which raised more than £1,000 for the charities, Help for Heroes, British Heart Foundation, Diabetes UK and a planned local initiative for Crediton."
