DEVON Open Studios is a much anticipated event for artists and public alike.
It is staged annually by Devon Artist Network and is open to all artists living in the South-West, providing a wonderful opportunity for the public to visit artists and crafts people in person in their studios, homes or garden sheds and garages.
This year, four Torrington artists are uniting for the first time to showcase their work in the delightful setting of a traditional Clinton lodge with stunning views of the countryside.

Helyne Jennings is a mixed media paper and textile artist creating abstract wall art and hand-painted ear studs and brooches. Her work is a continual experiment with media. (www.helynejennings.com)
Sue Eeles is continually inspired by the beauty of the county: country hedgerows; dry stone walls; coastal cliffs; rock formations and pebble ridges. She creates impressionistic stitched art using a variety of media on fabric and paper. (www.sueeelesstudio.co.uk)

Bridgette Anderson is a multi-disciplinary artist who explores a wide range of materials and processes. Her creative practice is cathartic and intuitive, drawing on feelings and memories: a voyage of self-discovery. (www.bridgetteandersonart.myportfolio.com)
Sue Meager uses a variety of mixed media creating calm semi-abstract landscapes, and bolder collage and textural works which often incorporate fabric embellished with hand and machine stitching. (www.suemeagerartist.co.uk)

The exhibition will open every day from Saturday, September 12 to Sunday, September 20 from 10.30am to 4.30pm.
