THE annual Sandford Summer Show was held in the village on the Summer Bank Holiday, Monday, August 31.

The event in Sandford Parish Hall saw 450 entries of vegetables, flowers, baked goods, crafts, photographs and more by as many as 53 exhibitors.

The youngest exhibitor was two years old and the oldest in their 80s. Prizes were awarded to people of all ages across 110 classes.

There was also a raffle, and tea and cakes were served.

The trophy winners were Maurice Tolly, Nichola Selley, Linda Griffin, Nicky Barnes, Sally West, the Commin family, Anne Commin, Cathy Horsley, Sophie Commin, and Evan Horsley.

The show was revived in 2024 for the first time since 2019.
