THE public was able to question Devon and Cornwall Police and Crime Commissioner Alison Hernandez at a “Meet Your PCC” event, which was held at the Tesco store at Wellparks, Crediton, on Thursday, March 29.

Alison was there from 11.30am to 1pm and met dozens of shoppers at a peak time ahead of the Easter break.

She answered many questions about policing and/or community safety issues.

During the visit she was also interviewed in the store for a student documentary.

Due to the success of the event, it is hoped that she will return to hold a similar event in the future.
