AFTER the success of the Charity Car Show organised by Lavish Life and Crediton Tesco back in March, another will take place on Sunday, September 18 in the Tesco car park at Wellparks.

The event which will be raising money for Help for Heroes, The British Heart Foundation and DiabetesUK as well as local community projects will again see cars from across the country gather together in what is expected to be quite a spectacle for any car enthusiast.

More than 200 cars attended the last event, with more expected at the Car Show on September 18.

Billy Elder, of the Lavish Life Car Club, said: “We had a great turn out for the last show and brilliant feedback from all those that attended as well as the Police, and everyone that came to see it. Because of this we are hoping for it to be even bigger and better.”

More than £1,000 was raised in March and as well as the money for the larger charities, the show contributed heavily to help the Crediton Town Council project to install a defibrillator in the Town Square.

The Crediton Tesco Store Community Champion, Andrew Drayton, is looking forward to the event, stating: “The show in March worked for everyone involved, attendees, the public, the emergency services, the local businesses that were there and the groups that benefited from the money raised.

"We are hoping that, following the great feedback that we received last time and with more to see and do that this show will be an even bigger success."

The food and drinks at the event will be supplied by local businesses, Camper Coffee, Vagabonds Milkshakes and The Red Deer as well as Kinchi’s Kitchen and Good Food and Drink.

Crediton Army Cadets will kindly help with stewarding at the event, which will run from 6pm to 10pm.

Anyone that wants to go along is advised that there will be no parking at the event itself so please park away from the car park and make your way there on foot.

If you would like to attend to exhibit your car, search "Facebook" using: Lavish/Tesco#2 and request to be there.
