A CREDITON girl has read as many as 50 books in just eight months in a library reading challenge.
Amber, six, received her Secret Book Quest certificate from Library Supervisor Sue Lee at Crediton Library on Thursday, April 24.
She plans to read a further 50 books to reach a total of 100 to get a gold certificate.
As well as reading, Amber also enjoys swimming and ballet.
A fun and free way to get children reading, the Secret Book Quest involves reading a set number of books, collecting stickers and deciphering a code.
Children can sign up for the challenge at their local library.
