A BARNSTAPLE man will appear in court tomorrow, Tuesday, January 24, charged with possession of an offensive weapon in a public place, namely two large table legs concealed in his trousers.

Sean Smith, aged 52, was charged with the offence of possession of an offensive weapon, namely the two large table legs concealed in his trousers, in Cockles Rise, Crediton on January 10, 2026.

He will appear at Exeter Magistrates’ Court.
