IN 2002 a group of men from Chulmleigh produced a calendar of themselves in various poses in their working environments.

The calendar sold well, raising more than £4,000 for the Devon Air Ambulance Trust.

The men have now produced a second calendar, aptly named Good Sports Together Again.

The inspiration for the new calendar was an unfortunate accident suffered by a close friend of many of the men.

The man in question fell 12ft off a ladder and landed on his head in May 2008.

If it was not for the action of the Air Ambulance paramedics the friends think that the man could have been more seriously injured.

However, he stills needs constant medical help and is waiting to go to a specialist unit for further treatment.

After being approached by several of the men in the first calendar it was agreed, by all original 12 men, they would do another.

The new calendars are now available at just £5 plus postage and packing.

The cost of printing etc has been covered by very generous local business people.
