A CAR wash run by Crediton firefighters at Crediton Fire Station on Saturday, March 7 has been hailed the busiest yet!

The event was due to run from 10am to 2pm but with a queue of cars formed before the start time it was decided to start early.

The queue of waiting cars continued throughout the event, the firefighters working hard for more than four hours.

They were raising funds for the Fire Fighters Charity which offers specialist lifelong support for members of the UK fire services community, empowering individuals to live happier and healthier lives, helping all serving and retired firefighters and their families.

The crew were thrilled to raise £932 for the charity and thank all who supported them.
