BRITISH Transport Police (BTP) officers are working to reunite a suspected lost or stolen bicycle with its owner after it was found at a station in Exeter.

Officers found the bike – a black Tern GSD Cargo electric bike thought to be worth around £4,000 – loose on the platform at Marsh Barton Railway Station on Tuesday, March 3.

Officers are trying to establish whether it was mistakenly left or has been stolen.

If this is your bike or you know who it belongs to, please contact BTP by texting 61016, or calling 0800 40 50 40, using the reference 2600029096.

Please note that anyone coming forward to claim ownership will be asked to show proof, either via receipts or having the key to the electric batteries.
