SATURDAY, June 22 saw Okehampton Golf Club hold an Individual competition for the Jim Butcher Medal.

The winner of Division One was Ian Moore with nett 67, Matthew Parry was second with nett 68 and Lee Carey was third also scoring a nett 68.

Division Two was won by Matthew Mills with nett 66 after count back on the back nine from, in second Ray Stevens and third place went to Adrian Raymond with nett 67.

The winner of the Jim Butcher Medal and Division Three, with a very creditable nett 65, was Sam Evans, John Latham was second again on count back and Steve Hill was third with nett 71.

The ladies section entered the Ping four ball betterball and the winners with 39 points were Frances Harbron and Maggie Caws.

The Ladies County Seniors Championships (50+) were held at Honiton Golf Club on Thursday, June 20 and the winner of the nett trophy was Sue Stanbury with nett 74.
