WITH some of the Seniors away enjoying a fine team victory over Exeter Golf and Country Club on Monday, March 20, there was an individual stableford for those that remained at Crediton.

Jim Dunlop once again showed the form that has made him a multiple winner this winter to score 39 points and take the victory.

Richard Tomkins followed in second place posting 37 points whilst Jim Enright finished third scoring 36 points.

Downes ladies played a team stableford on Thursday, March 23 with two scores to count. Winning were the trio of Di Botterill, Lyn Parry and Annet Coles scoring 66 points.

In second spot, two points adrift, were Penny Long, Sue Jackon and Ying Wong (64 points) with Liz Mapson, Viv Jordan and Rickie Pawsey in third place (62 points).

More than 70 players turned out for a roll up stableford on Saturday, March 25 and last off the course, Steve Bassett, took top spot posting 39 points and beating two others with a better back nine holes.

Bassett also took top spot in Division Three beating Matt Brooks (39 points) into second with Matt Redstone posting 36 points for third.

Division One saw Martin Garnsey score a fine 39 points to head the standings two clear of Paul Sandercock and Tristan Kershaw who both scored 37 points to finish second and third respectively.

Rob Hazeldine scored 36 points to top Division Two with Graham Dyne (35 points) placed second and Frank Sanders (34 points) third.

The ladies Division was won by Katie Cornish scoring 28 points.
