THE format of the day on Saturday, December 3 at Okehampton Golf Club was a Four Ball Texas Scramble and the overall winners, with a nett score of 52.5, were Ted Boswell, Ron Uren, Paul Fewings and David Way.

Second position went to Andy Parry, Lewis Parry, Matt Parry and Paul Rattenbury with nett 53.3 and in third place with a nett 53.9 were Mark Wonnacott, Martin O’Connor, Kevin Cornwall & Malcolm Hill.

On Saturday evening members enjoyed a superb banquet to celebrate the inauguration of new captain Mr Evan Rees and on Sunday morning the new Captain’s Drive-In Shotgun competiton was played.

This was a three ball two to count stableford and the winners were Steve Mander, Bob Collett and Sue Williams with 76 points.

Evan Rees, Stuart Wilson and Michelle Widdows were second with 73 points and in third place with 69 points were Marcia Collett, Barry Coaker and Dennis Edwards.
