SIMON Mannell took the top spot in Downes Crediton Golf Club’s Seniors roll up on Monday, March 18 with a terrific score of 44 points.

Colin Parr finished in second place, also with 44 points but losing to a better back nine and it was Eric Fee who finished in third place with 43 points.

Downes’ ladies played a nine hole stableford on Thursday, March 14 and it was Anne Woodger who took top spot with a brilliant score of 18 points.

She was closely followed by June Mitchell who also scored 18 points but lost to a better back nine. Sue Barr finished in third place with 16 points while Joyce Gilg finished fourth also with 16 points but lost to a better back nine.
