A FOUR Ball Better Ball Open competition was played at Okehampton Golf Club on Saturday, July 17 and the winners with 46 points were Shawn Jones and Bryn Williams.

In second were Chris Back and Matt Soby with 45 points on the back nine, just beating Jerry Lock and Graham Pengelly.

Fourth place went to Lee Bonner and Paul Ayris with 44 points, beating Tony Williams and Mike Hubbard and Steve Pike and Paul Fewings, all with 44 points.

Seventh position was won by Steve Mander and Richard Salter with 43 points.

Kevin Harding and Roger Slack were eighth with 43 points and Paul Prouse and Barry Down were ninth, also with 43 points.
