A FOUR ball better ball stableford was played at Okehampton Golf Club on Saturday, December 10 and the winners of Division One with 47 points were Rob Green and Malcolm Hooper.

In second place were Del Owen and Graham Moysey with 45 points, with Reggie Wonnacott and Norman Heslop in third place with 44 points.

Division Two was won by Richard Reid and Phil Jones with 46 points, second were Steve and John Latham with 44 points after countback on the back nine from, in third, Paul Fewings and Bob Jones.

On Wednesday (December 7) the ladies section entered a three ball better ball stableford competition with drawn partners.

The winners with 73 points were Cherry James, Sue Stanbury and Pam Jarman, closely followed into second place by Janice Thwaites, Maggie Caws and Jane Warren with 72 points.

Prizes were awarded by the new Lady Captain Michelle Widdows which was then followed by a sumptuous Christmas Lunch.
