ON Saturday, January 28, a four ball better ball stableford competition was the format of the day at Okehampton Golf Club which resulted in the top three pairs of Division One, all achieving 45 points.

After countback it was decided that the winners were Mike Hern and Paul Ayris, in second place were Paul Skidmore and Richard Reid and third place went to Pete Murphy and Matt Mills.

Division Two was won by Pete Grant and David Stanbury with an impressive 49 points. Alan Mann and Rob Green were second with 45 points on the back nine from, in third Kevin Harding and Richard Goodger.

On Wednesday, January 25 the ladies section played a three ball two to count team competition the winners were Sue Williams, Sue Davies and Mary Keir and in second place were Marcia Collett, Cherry James and Vida Appleton.
