AN Individual Medal competition was played at Okehampton Golf Club on Saturday, September 15 in perfect conditions.

The winner of Division One with a brilliant gross 73 nett 63 was Steve Robinson, second place went to Ricky Wooldridge with nett 64 and in third with a nett 66 was Kevin Cornwall.

Division Two was very close with the top three players all achieving nett 66. After countback John Halliday was first, Fred Cooke second and Reggie Wonnacott was third.

Sam Evans was the winner of Division Three after a storming round and finishing with a gross 82 nett 59. Tim Butler was second with a nett 66 and Pete Grant was third with nett 67.

The ladies section entered the qualifying round of the “Daily Mail” Foursomes competition and the winning couple were Marcia Collett and Sue Stanbury. They now go on to represent the Club in the next round.
