AFTER once again enjoying a very successful season both the Okehampton Golf Club ladies’ Presidents and the Creasy teams got through to the County finals which were held at Saunton Golf Club, which in itself was a great achievement for Okehampton.

A buoyant group of lilac-clad ladies and supporters set off and first on the tee were the Creasy team who were up against Fingle Glen. This proved to be a very close match with Fingle going through as the victors.

Next on the tee were the Presidents and their opponents were the ladies from Holsworthy, once again there was a nail-biting finish with Okehampton managing to win the match and the title.

The Club thanks everyone involved throughout the entire season, players, caddies and supporters.

On Saturday, September 24 an Individual Stableford competition for the Stuart Wilson Trophy was held and the winner of Division One and the trophy was James Hall with 42 points.

Second place went to Chris Hurley with 39 points and in third with 38 points was Steve Robinson.
