AN Individual Stableford competition for the Stuart Wilson Trophy was played at Okehampton Golf Club on Saturday, July 10.

The winner of Division One with 39 points was Gary Carey, second place was taken by Adam Cook with 38 points and Pete Murphy was third with 37 points.

Division Two had a nail-biting finish with the top four players all achieving 37 points after countback Pete Okopski was first, Graham Pengelly second, Rod Wright third and Ray Stevens was fourth.

In Division Three the Stuart Wilson Trophy was won by Jim Murray with 40 points closely following in second place by John Haley with 39 points and Brian May was third with 38 points.

The ladies section entered an individual medal competition and the winner of Division One, with nett 71, was Marcia Collett, Sue Williams was second with nett 72 and Sue Stanbury took third place with nett 73.

Lin Atkinson was the winner of Division Two with nett 71, Babs Beaney was second with nett 73 and Jane Warren was third with nett 75.
