The winners were Lin Atkinson and Di Johnson with 42 points and in second place were Janice Thwaites and Abby Turner with 40 points.
On Sunday, September 26, members played for the Dora Milner Trophy, thereby celebrating the centenary of the Ladies Section.
Dora Milner was the founder and first lady captain of the section in 1921.
In 1925 she became the Club Captain, the only lady to hold this position in the history of the club.
The prestigious trophy was presented to the ladies’ section by her niece Mrs Doris Chambers, an all-England Lady Champion, in memory of her aunt and the contribution she had made to Okehampton Golf Club.
The format for the competition is unusual in that drawn partners play a foursomes medal. The photograph shows the 2021 winners, Babs Beaney and Richard Johnson together with Lady Captain Jane Warren.
