THE greenkeeper’s shed at Okehampton Golf Club was broken into during the night of Sunday, January 31 or early hours of Monday, February 1.
A statement by the club said: "As if it isn’t hard enough for golf clubs at the moment, some mindless vandals have smashed their way into our greenkeeper’s shed and caused a large amount of damage to our equipment.
"They have also stolen the following items:
Two Golf buggies, two bags of green seed, one Parkside chainsaw and one Dewalt drill."
A video was released of some of the damage caused.
The statement continued: "It is going to cost the club money and time to repair. If you are offered any of the above items or have seen people with blue dye on their hands or clothes or may have seen anything at the club over the weekend, please let us know."
Police attended and are investigating and the Club CCTV is being reviewed.
If you can help, please telephone 101.
