THE seniors at Downes Crediton Golf Club played a 1-2-3 three-player team stableford on Monday, June 27 and it saw the team of Robert Dobson, Peter Russell and Robin Abrahams score a fantastic 80 points.

The team finishing second were Richard Wilson, Mark Walker and Peter Stunell who scored 77 points.

Simon Baker took the mid-week stableford on Wednesday, June 29 by shooting 39 points.

Anne Woodger stole the show in the ladies county stableford on Thursday, June 30 with a score of 39 points to take the Division One top spot with Fran Shrubsole finishing second with a score of 34 points.

In Division Two it was Sue Jackson who also scored an amazing 39 points to take first place with Diane Parsons scoring 35 points to finish second.

The Thursday nine-hole stableford was won by John Cornish who scored 21 points.

There were some fantastic scores in the July monthly stableford played on Saturday, July 2, but it was Hayden Leach who scored an incredible 44 points to win overall and Division Three, while Mark Dafters who also scored 44 points finished second.

In Division One Jim Dunlop scored 38 points to win and Sam Hills finished second with 37 points.

In Division Two Steve Whyte took the top spot with a score of 39 points and David Bunclark finished second with a score of 37 points.
