ON Monday, June 6 the seniors at Downes Crediton Golf Club played the annual Green Keepers Revenge competition and it saw the trio of John Bundfuss, Graham Cox and Stephen Gidley triumphant scoring a fine nett 60 (10 under).
Following in second were the team of Andy Gibson, Peter Huda and Graham Knowles (nett 61) whilst David Cousins, Vaughan Galavan and Chris Vercoe (nett 61) finished third.
Hayden Leach stole the show in Midweek Stableford on Wednesday, June 8 with a score of 42 points.
Lyn Parry scored a best of the day 34 points to win overall, top Division One and take the Grandma’s Trophy in the County Stableford 6 on Thursday, June 9, whilst Sue Sparham posted 32 points for victory in Division Two.
Kevin Read won the Thursday 9-Hole Stableford scoring 19 points.
On a beautiful day with the course is superb condition Bob Pym produced a superb stableford score of 41 points to win the Presidents Prize and top Division 3 on Saturday, June 11.
In Division Three Graham Weeks (39pts) finished second whilst in Division Two victory went to Steve Blackmore posting 36 points with Ben Lyne (35pts) second.
Division One saw Richard Dyer score 38 points for the win while Rodin Mackay (37pts) placed second.
Richard Trick produced a fine 41 points for victory in Stableford on Sunday, June 12.
