AN Individual Medal competition, played at Okehampton Golf Club on Saturday, May 25, saw Matt Parry win the Macleod Cup (Scratch) and David Stallion win the Burd Medal (Nett).

Saturday, June 1 saw golfers competing for the Ted Brown Challenge Trophy in a three ball two to count stableford. Winners of the trophy were Ian Moore, Dan Hudson and Paul Prouse.

The club’s Abby Turner competed in the Ladies Devon Golf County Championships at Exeter Golf and Country Club with a superb run of play to reach the semi-finals. She was just beaten on the 19th hole by the eventual new county champion. Abby won the Jose Bruce Bowl as runner in the stroke-play.
