AN individual medal competition for the Brian Adams Salver (best scratch) and the Bill Webber Bowl (best handicap) was contested at Okehampton Golf Club on August 4.

The winner of Division One and both trophies was Kevin Cornwall and if this wasn’t enough he also managed to smash the gross course record of 66 with a gross score of 65 nett 60.

Rod Milsom-Smith was second with nett 63 after countback on the back nine from, in third Ian Moore.

Division Two was won by Graham Pengelly with gross 77 nett 62, Richard Heslop took second place with gross 65 and Paul MacDonald was third with gross 66.
