A THREE-Ball Two to Count Stableford competition was held at Okehampton Golf Club on Saturday, September 28 which saw Mark Wonnacott, Kevin Cornwall and Malcolm Hill way out in front with a winning score of 80 points.

In second place with 76 points were Keith Lee, Ron Copeland and Steve Robinson and Andy Parry, Matthew Parry and Lewis Parry were third with 75 points.

Frances Harbron and Sue Stanbury represented Okehampton ladies in the County competition finals which were held at Yelverton Golf Club.  They were playing for the Doris-Wills-Little trophy against Ilfracombe. 

Despite a good battle the ladies were beaten on the 16th hole.  This is a great achievement making it through to a County final as there were 31 teams entered at the beginning.  

This competition runs throughout the season on a knockout basis.  Well done Sue and Frances!
