AN Individual Medal competition, played at Okehampton Golf Club on Saturday, June 8, also incorporated the first round of 2019 Club Championships.

The winner of Division One, with an amazing gross 68 nett 64, was Ian Moore closely followed into second place by Ryan Turner with nett 65 having a better back nine than Malcolm Hooper also achieving a nett 65.

Shane Monnox was the winner of Division Two with gross 83 nett 65, Paul Rogers was second with nett 66 after count back from, in third, Colin Beardwell.

Division Three was won by Frank Nowell with a gross 85 nett 62, David Haines-Lawson was second with nett 70 and Sam Evans was third with nett 71.

On Wednesday, June 6 the ladies section also played an individual medal competition and the winner of the Margaret Down Trophy for the best gross score was Abby Turner with a gross 76.

The winner of the silver Peacock Salver for best nett was Judith Ezard with nett 69, Sue Stanbury was second with nett 70 and Sue Williams took third place with nett 71.

Pam Jarman was the winner of the bronze Peacock Slaver with a nett 72, Maureen Willcocks was second with nett 73 and Babs Beaney was third also coming in with a nett 73 .
