A FOUR ball better ball competition was held at Okehampton Golf Club on Saturday, November 25 and despite a bracing wind the course was playing well and some good scores were achieved.

The overall winners with 50 points were Dave Grimes and Bryan Evans, in second place were Mark Wonnacott and Kevin Cornwall with 46 points after count back on the back six from, in third, Steve Peake and Daniel Hudson.

The ladies section entered the annual Turkey Trot stableford competition and the winner was Mary Keir with 32 points, Francis Harbron was second with 31 points and Penny Deakin was third with 29 points.
