A FOUR ball better ball stableford competition was held at Okehampton Golf Club on Saturday, March 2 which saw Keith Harvey and Alan Lawson scoring 47 points to win Division One.

In second place were Alan Searle and Gary Carey with 45 points, with Steve Rice and Kevin Perryman in third place with 43 points.

Division Two was won by Stuart Brealy and Bill Tucker with 42 points, in second place were Paul and Andrew Rogers with 41 points, narrowly beating Vick Marks and David Stanbury on the back six.

The lady Captain’s team took on the lady Vice-Captain’s team last week. Playing in pairs with one score to count, it was a very close result with the Captain’s team winning by just one point.

The highest scoring pair of the day were Janice Thwaites and Di Johnson with 47 points and in second place were Lorna Evans and Maggie Caws with 45 points.
