ON Saturday, November, 6, a Four Ball Better Ball “Turkey Trot” Stableford competition was played at Okehampton Golf Club and the winners of Division One were David Williams and Vic Marks with 46 points.

Paul Rattenbury and Matt Soby were second with 44 points after count back from, in third Kevin Cornwall and Alan Searle, Mike Hubbard and Mark Bennett were fourth with 43 points.

Division Two was won by Brian May and Steve Browne with a very impressive 47 points, Scott Gillespie and Adrian Rice were second with 46 points, Stuart Brealy and Bill Tucker were third with 45 points and Adrian Raymond and David Haines-Lawson were fourth with 44 points.

The ladies section played a medal competition and the winner of Division One was Maggie Caws with nett 70, Frances Harbron was second also with nett 70 and Sue Williams was third with nett 74.

Division Two was won by Mary Keir with nett 69, Babs Beaney was second with nett 73 and Cherry James was third with nett 74.
