A SENIORS Three Ball Two to Count Stableford Open Competition was held at Okehampton Golf Club on Monday, September 14. The overall winners with 78 points were Evan Rees, Paul Ayris and Alan Stokes.

In second place were John Leonard, John Ripley and John Flavin with 74 points.

The best visitor prize was won by J Kenshole, P Carr and K Woollacott (Downes Crediton) with 72 points and the best combination prize was won by Steve Blackmuir, Adrian Tilley and Barry Porter (Ashbury/Oke) with 70 points.

On Friday 18th September a Ladies Three Ball Dropout Texas Scramble Open competition took place and the winners were Sylvie Gowers, Jenni Hutchinson and Annie Norman (Oke/Teignmouth/Exeter) with nett 62.4.

In second place were Marcia Jones, Marcia Collet and Carol Skrzypczak (Oke/Holsworthy) with nett 64.

The best visitor prize was won by Val Hoar, E Bright and L Finding (Fingle/E.Devon) with nett 69.4 and the best combination prize was taken by Sue Williams, Frances Harbron and Maggie Thompson (Oke/Teign Valley) with nett 64.2.
